The rumors about Apple flagship iPhone 7 have started to surface on the various tech blogs and according to them, iPhone 7 release date will be sometime during September 2015 as the tech giant is following a set pattern for the release of new iPhone starting iPhone 5. The phone is said to be the most powerful smartphone of the year 2015 with ultra advanced iOS 9, Apple’s A9 processor, 2 GB RAM and powerful battery that will last longer than any other smartphone under said conditions.

The Cupertino, California based tech giant is facing cutthroat competition from rivals like Samsung , HTC, Sony who are continuously working hard to make their smartphones as smart and powerful as possible and these company has succeeded to much extent. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is a nice catch with stunning design, bigger screen size and great resolutions, ultra fast quad-core 2.7 Ghz Krait 450 processor supplemented by Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chip-set, 3GB RAM and runs Android 4.2.2. With all these ultimate hardware, the phone works like a charm with no time lag.

However if we talk about latest release from Apple, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are the most powerful smartphones in today’s market with 4.7 and 5.3 inches IPS LCD capacitive touch screen, dual-core 1.4 Ghz processor supported by Apple’s powerful  A8 processor. The phone runs smoothly with the help of 1 GB RAM. The only thing which I didn’t like about this phone is no card slot for increasing memory. People have to buy either of 16/32/128 GB phone as there is no way to increase memory with microSD card.

Since the techie is facing great competition from the rivals, the new iPhone 7 may feature even better features what we see in iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. According to the concept design of iPhone 7, the company may further increase the size of it to compete with other big screen flagship smartphones however the depth could be further reduced to 0.24 inches (6.3 mm) to make  it slimmer than ever. The weight of iPhone 7 will be lighter than its predecessors and it is limited to 112 grams as compared to 129 grams in case of iPhone 6.

The phone will feature 5.8 inches IPS LCD touchscreen with pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920 that will make every picture look brighter. Talking about the camera, iPhone 7 may feature 13 megapixel primary camera and 2.0 megapixel front facing camera for self shoot. Apart from these, the company will work on improving battery drainage as well.

The one of the main focus of the company is reduce the weight of the phone so that it doesn’t make your pocket heavy. The iPhone 7 with all these features (many more that we aren’t aware of at this point of time) may be priced at anywhere between 800-900 USD. The price may vary for different variants (16 GB, 32, GB, 64 GB, 128, GB) and for different locations.

First of all thanks for the valuable information. Just a quick question, my friend bought iPhone 6 16 GB and there is no slot for further increasing the memory. He realised it after the purchase. Its disappointing factor for me. Is iPhone 7 going to do the same?

      Hi Nick, thanks

Well, Yes. I anticipate that iPhone 7 will to have no choice to increase memory size further with microSD card. It will again come with non expandable memory.
